these one-of-a-kind dangle earrings were created from pacific spiny dogfish vertebrae found while wading through the receding tidewaters of false bay on washington's san juan island.
we spent hours scouring the unusually warm waters in search of anything the morning’s high tide brought to this natural shelf on the south side of the island. these vertebrae were carefully cleaned by hand as to not damage any of the delicate strands that make up its structure.
